With this tool, you can enter the payee, Dollar amount, and have the word amount automatically generated for you. The free version of the app prints checks solely at the top, while the full version, available as an in-app purchase, provides more flexibility by allowing printing at the top, middle, and bottom sections or in Personal (Wallet) size.

Customization options include the ability to set currency symbols, currency names, and cents names based on your preferences or country-specific requirements. Users can choose from default options like $, "Dollars," and "Cents," or set alternatives such as £, "Pounds," "Pence" for the UK or €, "Euro," "Cents," or "Centimes" for countries like Malta. Additionally, automatic balance calculations and the option to select different fonts for personalized name printing on checks are supported.

Check Writer+Letter offers features like automatic signature placement using either a custom picture or text content. Users can adjust all elements of the check layout to suit their needs and preferences, perfect for compatibility with pre-printed paper. The application employs highly accurate MICR E13B technology to print special characters at the check's bottom to ensure bank processing recognition, a standard font trusted by regional and national banks daily.

Checks can be printed on various paper types including standard letter-size paper in plain white or color, professional check refill paper found in office supply stores such as Versacheck #1000, or pre-printed paper stock. The app also supports Blank Checks feature without lines for generating check paper tailored to popular accounting software.

Users can adjust check height in Preferences to suit non-standard pre-printed paper sizes and have precise horizontal and vertical nudging capabilities in millimeters during printing. The application seamlessly works with both WiFi and cloud printers for added convenience.

Check Writer+Letter offers additional features through in-app purchases and supports automatic language switching between English, Spanish, and French based on the Android device settings. It's important to note that this app complies with the MICR standard used in bank processing primarily in the US, UK, Malta, and potentially across Commonwealth countries.
